These analyses are useful for single ingredients as well as products. They define the necessary studies for producing a cosmetic product and are helpful for your claim support (dermatologically tested etc …)
Prior of placing a cosmetic product on the European market, the PIF (Product Information File) must be drawn up. This is composed by different documents:
- a description of the cosmetic product
- the cosmetic product safety report (CPSR)
- a description of the method of manufacturing and a statement on compliance with good manufacturing practice
- proof of the effect claimed for the cosmetic product
- data on any animal testing performed by the manufacturer
Cosmetic product safety report is a part of the PIF and i composed by two part:
- Part A (cosmetic product safety information) is a description of the formulation, exposure scenarios and toxicological evaluation of the cosmetic products and its ingredients
- Part B (cosmetic product safety assessment) contains conclusions about product assessment and assessor's approval
Our experts can prepare the whole document for you or support you for single parts of it.
Our ERTs will check all informations and sign Part B
Prior to placing the cosmetic product on the market, the information of the cosmetic product shall be submitted, by electronic means, to the CPNP. Chemsafe can do that for you!
